We are now offering new tools to help schools make sports seasons quicker and more intuitive.
Now when creating seasons schools will be asked if they would like to upload multiple seasons. This will appear as a drop-down list containing all known sports types. You can select the sports you want to build a season for by checking off the box next to their name. (e.g. we selected Basketball and Swimming in the scenario below.)
When you are happy with the sports you would like to upload, hit the "Continue" button. You will be asked to specify the School or Account that will be hosting the events and paid for them.
Once you have the home and financial pieces sorted, click "Continue".
In the next steps, you will now be able to upload either an Excel Sheet of your season's game data if you have it or you are able to define the events individually.
If you want to upload your games as part of an excel sheet you will need to provide the necessary information in the order presented below. We provide a sample template for you to use.
Uploading individual events should feel familiar, much like the original season creation workflow that you are used to, you will define the number of games in your season(s) coupled with the Gender, start time, and Level (varsity, freshman, etc.)
Seasons like before will pull in your school's default tickets from your account settings as long as the season you are creating shares a Sports type (Basketball) and Level (Freshman) with an existing Default Ticket.
Below that, you can specify the location of the event using your school's known venues as well as define if you want the tickets in the season to be able to apply to one or multiple games. This is ideal if your school orchestrates the boys and girls teams' games to start when the other conclude e.g. boys basketball plays at 5:30 pm and girls basketball plays at 7 pm.
At any time you can switch between the seasons you want to upload and your work will not be lost when alternating between the two to make changes.
When you are done, clicking "Continue" at the bottom of the page will bring you to the next step and final step. Specify the date and opponents of the events in your season. Once the dates, times, and opponents are all specified you can publish your season!
